Junior membership for Witney Roadrunners for 2017 is due by 1st April 2017.  Please note that all Junior members of Witney Roadrunners (including under 11s) are now required to pay membership fees for the club, as well as England Athletics Affiliation Fees.  Members of Witney Roadrunners will be unable to compete without EA affiliation and therefore this should be completed.  More information on this can be found at  www.englandathletics.org.
The combined cost of membership and England Athletics Affiliation for all Juniors is therefore £17 (£3 for membership of WRR plus £14 England Athletics Affiliation.)
Please could all existing members please complete the Membership Renewal Form 2017-18 and the EA-affiliation-form and return them,
together with payment to Liz Jarrett as soon as possible.

or passed to her via Mark Jarrett (Hannah Jarrett’s dad who is at training on Thursday nights).

Some of our athletes recently took part in the County Championships at Burgess Hill.

Two of our Juniors competed at the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham  for the English Schools Championships.  Under 15, Jess Barker finished her weekend with a new PB, and Club record in the 200 metres with a time of 26.26 seconds.  Under 17  team mate James Currah, ended up with a very respectable time of 1 minute and 59 seconds in the 800 metres.

Witney Road Runner  Juniors completed a 4 x 100 metres relay at Radley College on 7th July.  Athletes ranging from 8 years old up to 16, completed the 105.4875 laps, in a time of 2 hours, 19 minutes and 23 seconds.
