I have had notification from the London Marathon Team that we are required to supply less Marshals this year for COVID safety reasons.
So instead of the usual 40, I only need 24!
I have therefore made the decision, with the Committee’s approval, to only ask WRR who have marshalled before, as I need experience instead of numbers.
I apologise to let some of you down who had put your name forward for last years marathon, I will however contact you each next year to see if you are still interested.
I will be in touch with those who I would like to Marshall this year, I need to know in the next 2 weeks if you re still available.
