At last a little more light with the easing of lockdown restrictions allowing up to 6 people to train together. Please observe social distancing if you do choose to go out in a group, and pay particular attention to other path/road users,as people are still very sensitive. There is still a long way to go before we will be able to have unrestricted group running.
So Martin has decided to end his career as a “poster boy” on Facebook, a huge thanks to him for taking the time and trouble to take us back through some of our Clubs history, I had that mountain of newspaper cuttings all that time and kept threatening to throw them out, so glad I didn’t, but I also didn’t fancy sorting them out. I should also like to thank all those that responded to the posts, keeping the banter going and adding their own stories, it’s so good to be reminded “the older I get, the better I was”.
The results of the NTMBR2 are all in, another great job by the team concerned, and good to know there are more in the pipeline, with the weather like it is. Oh how I wish we were all getting lined up for Combe 1 for real, it is such a fantastic setting, and who can forget the year we had the Red Arrows flyover before the start?
So stay safe, be aware when out there running, and please stay in touch with your fellow runners.
