Another Sunday…but this one is a bit special with the Not the Ridgeway challange. It is amazing that we were able to put out 2 teams, plus running buddies, to participate in this well organised event,a fantastic tribute to the spirit of the club in these difficult times. Well done to Steve and Sam for putting it together for us, I have no idea how it all went at the time of writing.
Last week was Fathers day, so a day off for me, but as I said the light is getting brighter, and we are edging closer to some normality. Our little group was maxed out at 6 people doing efforts along Jubilee way, it could quite easily have been more, but rules are rules, so please adhere to them, and be aware that a lot of people are still very nervous about the situation. The problem is it is so good to be able to do a little more together, to be social, and to encourage your Clubmates, it somehow feels better, easier, and you certainly get more out of it when running with other people. If you want to do efforts, please post on facebook, there are members who can join you and make it more enjoyable.
More Challanges are in the pipeline, so watch out for updates on Facebook.
