Kidlington Running Club have thankfully decided to stage a Mota-vation Race at Stratfield Brake on Thursday, 26th of August at 7pm.
This is the same location as the final race in the 2019 series
Please note that they cannot offer parking at Stratfield Brake itself except for those marshalling – extensive parking is available at either Oxford Parkway station or the Water Eaton Park & Ride (£2). Please do not park on local roads as a courtesy to residents.
The pavilion at Stratfield Brake provides changing and shower facilities, and all toilets are indoors.
The course itself is predominantly on mown grass, but partly on gravelled footpaths, with slightly uneven grass transitions. Overall, the course is flat – despite the apparent hills indicated on Strava, the actual elevation variation is a maximum of 13 feet!
As before it is open to participating clubs. We received entries at a discounted rate of £5 per runner, for providing a number of marshals on the night.
If you wish to participate please complete and return the attached form to Ian Fowler by Sunday August 15th.
If you are paying by cheque please make the cheque payable to Witney Roadrunners.
If you are paying by online banking please use a suitable reference e.g. John Smith – mota-vation and put the online banking details on the back of your completed entry form.
We appreciate the window for entries is short but Ian will be at West Witney Sports and Social Club on Thursday evenings or you can hand the completed forms to any committee member at a Tuesday or Thursday club sessions.
