Every Thursday the Short Run accommodates new members/ beginners/ improvers, injury recoverers and those who just fancy a shorter distance.
The routes will always be around 3 – 4 miles. I need 2 people every week to chaperone the group. The more volunteers there are, the greater the likelihood that you’ll only have to do one during the year. That was the case this year, with only about a dozen or so people picking up a second stint.
We have plenty of regular club members to meet the above criteria, so please commit to putting your name down to do one. As I have already said, it is likely that you will only do one in the 12 month period, so it really isn’t too onerous.
Remember as well, that if you want to enter the draw for a Club London Marathon 2020 place, you must have done at least one turn on the Short Run Rota(along with other published requirements) during 2019, so you would be wise to do one! As they say!
Could you please respond by 25th November at the latest letting me know you if you are happy to help or if you would rather be left out of the rota for next year.
